Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service has no intention of collecting data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. Automated decision making

Roverd makes decisions based on automated processing decisions about matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions that are taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (eg a Roverd employee). Roverd uses the its own online booking system where we manage all bookings and payments realtime for all our clients. The booking system generates an automatic voucher for each booking.  The voucher is a confirmation of the booking and received payment and will be sent to you per e-mail.


How long do we store personal data for?

Roverd stores your personal data for no longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:

Sharing personal data with third parties

Roverd only provides personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement with you, or in order to comply with a legal obligation.

Sharing payment information:

Roverd provides a payment solution in cooperation with Stripe ( Roverd doesn’t process any payments or stores any payment information (i.e. credit card numbers or expiration dates). Any payments will be directly handled by Stripe and Stripe will send  Roverd the necessary updates for failed, completed, declined. etc payments.


Cookies, or similar technologies, we use

Roverd uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit this website for the first time. Roverd uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. – DNSSEC is an additional security (addition to DNS) for converting a domain name (#company_website) to the linked IP address (server name); it is provided with a digital signature.
